According to upstream:
If the last.fm handshake fails, it retries every half hour. Tracks
played
before the handshake completes will be queued, and then will be
submitted once
the handshake completes.
The handshake procedure had some bugs in 0.11.5, can you try 0.11.6 and
see if it behaves any better?
