I request an adopter for the fbgrab package, as I don't really use framebuffer anymore. The package seems to be in good shape, there are no bugs and it is up to date with upstream. The package description is: Grabs an image of a framebuffer device and store it as a png file. . Also has a timer-feature so you can do things before the image is grabbed. .
