Package: gnome Severity: important In #484121, I read:
> * tomboy: very nice app, but controversial since it brings the > full Mono stack, so we don’t make it part of > gnome-desktop-environment. and a bit afterwards, new gnome is uploaded with tomboy in Recommends instead of Depends: > * Big synchronisation with the gnome-desktop task. See #484121 for > the discussion. > [...] > + Move tomboy to Recommends. Please note that moving packages to Recommends doesn't exclude them from the default install anymore, since APT defaults to including Recommends starting with lenny. I'm aware that tasksel uses --no-install-recommends, which would make one think Recommends aren't dragged in, but this is in fact not true (they will be dragged in as soon as the packages are upgraded). Please could you move tomboy (and maybe others) to Suggests? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-amd64 Locale: LANG=ca_AD.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ca_AD.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
