Package: nvidia-kernel-source Version: 1.0.7174-3 Severity: normal
After compiling my kernel and at the same time my modules, I installed both and upgrade nvidia-glx and the -common package. But upon reboot 'modprobe nvidia' did not work. After running depmod it loaded okay. I'm not sure if I have my system configured in a special way. Maybe the post install should run depmod for the target kernel version? greets, Wim -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages nvidia-kernel-source depends on: ii debhelper 4.2.32 helper programs for debian/rules ii dpatch 2.0.10 patch maintenance system for Debia ii make 3.80-9 The GNU version of the "make" util ii sed 4.1.2-8 The GNU sed stream editor -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
