Package: strace Followup-For: Bug #491167
It seems quite ridiculous to drag in a giant dependency like libc-amd64 when a large proportion of affected systems have no use for it. Indeed, the older systems with no use for are exactly those which are most likely to be resource-constrained and so suffer unduly from dependency bloat. How about having an "strace64" package and making "strace" depend on it only for the amd64 architecture?
