Package: nethack-x11
Version: 3.4.3-10.5
Severity: normal

Normally, the game beeps at you when you press an invalid key. However,
sometimes the game starts to beep after valid keystrokes. Note, though,
that it does allow these keystrokes.

I haven't been able to determined a set of conditions and keystrokes which
repeat this bug.

The work-around is to save and restart the game.
