Hi, I encounter the same problem and could not solve it with the suggestions in this bug report. However, it seems like seahorse is used: gpg is invoked with --use-agent from within enigmail, and the man page says it looks in the environment variable GPG_AGENT_INFO. On my system, it is set to $ echo $GPG_AGENT_INFO /tmp/seahorse-iiTyst/S.gpg-agent:4032:1
I then opened seahorse, and there is an option under menu (translating from Swedish now, may be inaccurate) edit/settings/pgp pass phrases where "never remember any passphrases" was checked.
