Good question. I'm a little bit frustrated about people inventing things and
afterwards not really caring about this. You might like to read

and the follow ups. For my purposes two different menu formats just create
extra nuisance and I hoped to start a process which was intended to end in
a common sense for one format. I admit I failed completely (as you stats
show). Just read the thread above and tell me what you think. I'm not very
keen on keeping this bug open if nobody else cares - it just bloats the BTS
if it is practically wontfix ...
