the patch looks good, i've made a few minor changes to it (incl. one syntax error, a missing 'die' when you open the stamps file for write, and i moved the unlink to the last possible moment, just in case the script does for some reason before it regenerates it. i also fixed all the '|| die' to use the correct lowest-precedence 'or' operator rather than '||').
