It obviously won't. Can you try reinstalling the java plugin and xulrunner-1.9 version 1.9~rc2-3 (lookup for it on snapshot.debian.net). If that works then, this will definitely mean something got wrong with the additional plugins directory. Otherwise, there is only an infinite loop triggered by the java plugin.
