Package: xserver-xorg-input-evtouch Version: 0.8.7-3ubuntu1 Severity: minor
*** Please type your report below this line *** Looking at evtouch.c it seems that the default value of the MoveLimit option is 180. I don't know the first thing about X drivers, but it seems to me that with recent changes (to make the driver compatible with the latest xorg release) the unit of this option is pixels. This basically means that when using the default options you have to move the cursor more than 180 pixels before the move is registred. This is at least what happens on my system. I recommend lowering the default value. I'm using a value of 5, which still might be a bit too high. BTW. are you guys in contact with the upstream author of the driver? It seems that the debian version has diverged quite a bit from upstream. So far actually that only the debian version works on any modern distribution. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
