Thank you for your report. I think your proposed solution is ok, I'd
change it to
preg_match('/(\S+)\s+\((.+)\)/', $dict, $dparts)
so you'll also match it if the space should be a tab. I will most probably
incorporate this when packaging the new upstream 1.4.5 release, which I
expect at the end of June.
