Package: gnat-4.3 Version: 4.3.1-1 Severity: important According to the Build-Depends, having gnat-4.3 installed but not gnat should be sufficient. However, when I tried that, I got:
... checking for x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc... gnatgcc checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details. make[1]: *** [stamps/04-configure-stamp] Error 77 make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/gnat-4.3/gnat-4.3-4.3.1' make: *** [stamps/04-configure-stamp] Error 2 dpkg-buildpackage: failure: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2 The config.log file shows that it's detecting that gnatgcc doesn't exist.
