It was only an example :) The real dependency chain: $ aptitude why banshee synaptic p banshee Recommends brasero p brasero Recommends gnome-mount p gnome-mount Depends libeel2-2.20 p libeel2-2.20 Recommends synaptic There was a discussion at [EMAIL PROTECTED] condidering this situation. As I result, maintainer of libeel2-2.20 said that he would remove 'Recommends' of synaptic at the next upload. I hope this will fix the problem. Thank you for discussion. - -- Eugene V.
