Package: nut Version: 2.0.2-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
After upgrading nut from 2.0.1-3, the newhidups driver failed to find the UPS device. Here is the output of /sbin/upsdrvctl -v start: ,---------------------------------------------------------- |Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.2-pre1 |exec: /lib/nut/newhidups -a mgeups |Network UPS Tools: New HID UPS driver 0.21 (2.0.2-pre1) | |Warning: This is an experimental driver. |Some features may not function correctly. | |001/003 03F0/0004 |001/002 0463/FFFF |001/001 0000/0000 |No USB/HID UPS found |Driver failed to start (exit status=1) `---------------------------------------------------------- Whereas lsusb shows that the UPS device is there indeed ! ,---------------------------------------------------------- |Bus 001 Device 003: ID 03f0:0004 Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 895c |Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0463:ffff MGE UPS Systems UPS |Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 `---------------------------------------------------------- I have made no change to the configuration since the upgrade but my feeling is that the newhidups driver should find the device...
