This is great! Thanks, Nelson for forwarding it upstream and getting
a proper response so fast. I wasn't really expecting (and don't need)
a quick fix (i've worked around my particular publishing need by
generating the PDF from OpenOffice.org's PDF export), but i figured
the issue should be raised. It woulda been nice to have the final
step of my publishing process be as automated as imagick is usually
capable of making things, but sometimes workarounds are necessary.

PS just to be clear, i'm pretty sure the font is *not* embedded in the
usual sense of the word when used to describe PDFs: it's referenced
(somehow), but there are no embedded glyphs in the generated file.
