A big relational dababase engine like MySQL seems bloated for this tool.

I would appreciate if an optional lighter backend was possible. See
pop-before-smtp for a flexible approach of DB backends (with BerkeleyDB
being one of the options).

Even if staying with the DBI framework please make the DBD configurable,
so that I choose to use DBI::SQLite instead.
