I posted one or two patches to Martin some time last year and at that time he asked if I would be interested in becoming a co-maintainer to help him out. Unfortunately since that time I haven't had any time to work on the package. I'm happy to withdraw as a co-maintainer. Or alternatively go through all the pending patches if that helps. Though if they are decent patches they really ought to go upstream, if they aren't already there.
