I still suffer from this issue, as I have to do the following whenever I quit audacious: $ cp -a ~/tmp/config-audacious-config_SAVE ~/.config/audacious/config which is very annoying. BTW, I noticed that the issue happens on amd64, but not on i386. Maybe it has something to do with 64 bit portability... I reported the issue a while ago, but I don't see any response yet. Could at least this bug report be forwarded to upstream?
