I think this dependency was introduced for some parts of teTeX tool chain to work correctly (I guess it was for PDF preview page or so.). Do you know what package provide similar functionality? Should I just drop it? (By dropping ps and pdf building.) This is probably good for solution for debian-reference. But for debian-policy and other packages, they are building PDF. Any thought?
