HiI had problems like this (for ex. for the long iceweasel debian bugs Web page), when scrolling from one page to another seemed not to clear the previous page, so the screen become unreadable. It solved by using EXA instead of XAA, as shown in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411831
