Package: apt-doc Version: 0.5.28.6 The text of
/usr/share/doc/apt-doc/offline.html/ch2.html has a paragraph which reads: On the remote Debian machine the first thing to do is mount the disc and copy /var/lib/dpkg/status to it. You will also need to create the directories outlined in the Overview, archives/partial/ and lists/partial/ Then take the disc to the remote machine and configure the sources.list. On the remote machine execute the following: Should this paragraph begin with: On the local Debian machine the first thing to do is... ? This seems kind of important, since we do not want the wrong /var/lib/dpkg/status file. This bug also exists for version 0.6.36 of the package in experimental. - Paul -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
