Sorry, but I don’t buy it. That would include a dependency on "menu", which includes the su-to-root utility; since Debian GNOME has dropped the Debian menu, it sounds stupid to bring it back just for the sake of an utility. > Using su-to-root is also important for Live CD systems which need to use > sudo rather than su (su-to-root permits global configuration to use sudo). gksu can be configured system-wide to use sudo, through GConf.
