Hi! Just in case the information is still helpful: I have been using kernel version 2.6.23.12 with driver version x86-169.12 and kernel version 2.6.25.2 with driver version x86-173.08. In both cases output with XvMC did not work. Kernels are from kernel.org and drivers from the NVIDIA website. Thanks for your reply!
