Indeed, it's easy to fix but you still need to know what's going wrong.
However, the good news is that the described "bug" only affects users
who previously once changed the build command so that it got written in
the user's config. If it was never changed manually an upgrade won't
break anything as the default build command gets also updated.

What do you suggest to solve the problem? 
It's not really possible anymore, IMO. Unfortunately, I missed to note
that in the release announcement, not sure if it would have changed
anything.
