Yes, indeed. This is expected and there is a schedule for binNMUing such
packages - see http://wiki.debian.org/Perl5.10Transition

The solution, then, is not to upgrade your perl package yet. It's not
possible to avoid such things in unstable, and you should always check
what apt-get plans to do when upgrading/dist-upgrading. You might be
able to fix things by adding testing to your sources.list and
downgrading the relevant packages.
