found 471319 0.9.1-2.4 thanks I notice similar behavior. Except, gmrun has always controlled the location of its window, not the WM. Up until version 0.9.1-2.2, it would open its window in the center of the screen. From -2.3 on, it would open its window towards the upper-left corner.
I sort of agree that window placement should be left to the WM. However, I appreciated gmrun's previous behavior, because if left on its own, Fluxbox will open windows in a completely random location. Either way, this is not something that should be changed in an NMU. -Brandon
