Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Glade.
2. Add a toplevel window.
3. Add a GtkComboBox.
4. Properties -> General -> Items (Click on [...])
5. Enter a Text.
6. Click "OK".

Glade crashes with the following error message:
(glade-3:491): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_string: assertion
`G_VALUE_HOLDS_STRING (value)' failed
Segmentation fault
