Hi GRUB maints, Looking at this report against memtest86+, I'd like to have some advice about the criteria to use to run the legacy update-grub.
The suggested patch perpetuates considering the existence of grub.conf as a necessary condition to run update-grub, but it is already a condition for running update-grub2.
