severity 476750 minor thanks Hi Marc
Actually if I read the aptitude manual page it is actually defined in this case. "The optional=<n> may be used to directly set the amount of quietness (for instance, to override a setting in /etc/apt/apt.conf); it causes the program to behave as if -q had been passed exactly <n> times." So in this case it would be the same as $APTCOMMAND -qqq update I'm not sure what level 3 means though. I'm setting the severity to minor as I know of no problems. Unless you can tell me one of course. :) Best regards, // Ola On Sat, Apr 19, 2008 at 12:08:14AM +0200, Marc Haber wrote: > Package: cron-apt > Version: 0.6.6 > Severity: normal > > Hi, > > the default configuration of OPTIONS="-o quiet=1" and "-o quiet=2" in > the update action leads to a command line of > > $APTCOMMAND -o quiet=1 update -o quiet=2 > > This may be hard to fix, but IIRC apt-get and aptitude are not > specified about how to handle contradicting options passed on on the > command line. > > Greetings > Marc > > > -- --------------------- Ola Lundqvist --------------------------- / [EMAIL PROTECTED] Annebergsslingan 37 \ | [EMAIL PROTECTED] 654 65 KARLSTAD | | http://inguza.com/ +46 (0)70-332 1551 | \ gpg/f.p.: 7090 A92B 18FE 7994 0C36 4FE4 18A1 B1CF 0FE5 3DD9 / --------------------------------------------------------------- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
