Package: secure-delete Version: 3.1-4 Severity: normal Using srm -r * on partition with many small files results in a too many open files error. Tried increasing file-max with sysctl -w fs.file-max=65534 but it has no effect suggesting a programming issue? As a test tried wipe package on the same files and this does not have a problem.
