I agree with the original submitter of the bug that it would be nice if the freebsd manpages could coexist with the linux man pages. However, as long as this isn't implemented you have to conflict with linux-manual-2.6.24 since otherwise installation fails:
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-manual-2.6.24_2.6.24-5_all.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/usr/share/man/man9/atomic_add.9.gz', which is also in package freebsd-manpages dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe) Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-manual-2.6.24_2.6.24-5_all.deb You can find a complete install log here: http://edos.debian.net/missing-conflicts/logs/freebsd-manpages_linux-manual-2.6.24 Consequently, I am raising the severity of this bug to Serious. -Ralf. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
