Package: metacity Version: 1:2.22.0-1 When I disable compositing using
gconftool-2 -s '/apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager' --type bool false (after enabling it by running gconftool-2 -s '/apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager' --type bool true ) the screen becomes corrupted. It shows outlines of the windows that were shown, but not their contents. The cursor changes as appropriate and I can control the applications using the keyboard, but the windows aren't updated. I wasn't able to determine how to fix the problem, so I switched to a different virtual console and killed x-session-manager. I think it should be possible to continue running normally after disabling compositing. -- Matt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
