There are about 130 files in the debian archive that can't be reproduced by pristine-gz yet. These must be produced by a version of gzip or another program that produces different results than the versions and variations pristine-gz tries. It's relatively easy to get 99% or more, but the last fractional percent coverage is tricky. -- see shy jo
