Package: crossfire-server Version: 1.11.0-2 Severity: normal
Hi, on my system crossfire-server is not always running. I run it only when I need it. As a consequence, every day cron sends me an e-mail with this error message: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: crossfire: no process killed error: error running postrotate script for /var/log/crossfire/logfile run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1 This is because /etc/logrotate.d/crossfire-server contains the following statement: postrotate killall -HUP -u games crossfire Therefore I propose that you replace it with: killall -HUP -u games crossfire &> /dev/null -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages crossfire-server depends on: ii crossfire-common 1.11.0-2 Common files for Crossfire ii crossfire-maps-small [ 1.5.0-3 Small set of maps for crossfire ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii python2.4 2.4.5-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime Versions of packages crossfire-server recommends: ii python 2.4.4-6 An interactive high-level object-o -- no debconf information -- Laurent Bonnaud. http://www.lis.inpg.fr/pages_perso/bonnaud/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
