Hi, I can't reproduce this, you need to provide more details. How are you launching Evince (keybinding? from panel? terminal? etc?) do you have more than one instance of Evince running? I did find one open upstream bug report about focus problems, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=465488 are you having the same problem?
