Package: syslog-ng
Version: 2.0.8~1-1
Severity: important
User: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Usertags: missing-dependency

Hello,

I've just enabled dependency based ordering of the initscripts via
insserv. Since this change, syslog-ng fails to stop at shutdown process:
it is already stopped by the sendsigs, and /var is not available any
longer.

This can simply be fixed by adding a dependency on $remote_fs to both
Required-Start and Required-Stop.

Please see the Petter Reinholdtsens comments on the initscripts-ng-devel
mailinglist regarding this issue:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/initscripts-ng-devel/2008-April/000528.html

greetings,
 jonas
