Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-amd64 Version: 2.6.24-5 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. ---
System fails to boot with a kernel panic about not being able to find the root partition and some VHS error (can only tell you what I remember). Previous kernel is linux-image-2.6.22-3-amd64 (2.6.22-6.lenny1) which works fine. Comp has SATA HD & DVD, no IDE drives. This could be related to #473398, but may not be. If you want more info that's fine, but give me a hint please. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-amd64 Debian Release: lenny/sid 900 testing the.earth.li 900 testing security.debian.org 900 testing ftp3.de.debian-unofficial.org 800 unstable the.earth.li --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =======================================-+-=============== initramfs-tools (>= 0.55) | 0.91e OR yaird (>= 0.0.12-8) | OR linux-initramfs-tool | module-init-tools | 3.3-pre11-4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
