Package: aufs Version: 0+20080401-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
since it's possible to require an old (like 2.6.20) kernel for some reasons, I'd like to know whether you could eventually support them as well in aufs. Currently, compiling the aufs module (e.g. through m-a) fails because of CONFIG_AUFS_SPLICE_PATCH being enabled and requiring a 2.6.23 or later kernel. Maybe its being enabled could be made conditional, depending on the kernel version against which it is compiled? Also, since one could also need NFS, it might be interesting to enable CONFIG_AUFS_LHASH_PATCH for older kernel versions. Thanks for considering. Cheers, -- Cyril Brulebois
