Hi, I'm trying to reproduce bug you reported, but I couldn't succeed (xlock dies) it.
Could you show us your fvwm configuration? Because I couldn't understand what's mean "I have set up my FVWM so windows related to Gaim always are put on the same virtual desktop.".
