I look forward to seeing this in testing to make it into lenny if possible. I am tagging this important because the log4cxx upstream maintainers generally view the 0.9.7 version buggy enough to suggest people build their own from the latest repository code (pre 0.10.0 advice.) Any questions about 0.9.7 are met with a generic 'unsupported version' response.
