Hello,
the lenny version of imagemagick has a buggy /usr/bin/identify
Take any jpg image with correct EXIF data, and run, e.g.
identify -format "%[EXIF:DateTime]" image.jpg
This command (incorrectly) outputs nothing, even though
identify -format "%[EXIF:*]" image.jpg
reports correctly the list of exif data including DateTime.
This is not specific of DateTime: apparently it does not work with any of
the tags.
This is a regression from the etch 7:6.2.4.5.dfsg1-0.14 version with worked
just fine, namely as documented in
/usr/share/doc/imagemagick/www/command-line-options.html#format
