Package: libxine1 Version: 1.1.11-1 Severity: normal The new version of libxine-* with the security fix that was just released (version 1.1.11.1-1) makes amarok say that the m4a AAC files that I have here (which work perfectly well with version 1.1.11-1) lack a demuxer.
I have reverted back to the version with the security flaws so that I can listen to those files. The MP3 playback seems to be unaffected. I have not tested it with other kinds of files besides AAC and MP3 files. Thank you very much for any help, Rogério. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24.2-1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libxine1 depends on: ii libxine1-console 1.1.11-1 libaa/libcaca/framebuffer/directfb ii libxine1-misc-plugins 1.1.11-1 Input, audio output and post plugi ii libxine1-plugins 1.1.11-1 the xine video/media player librar ii libxine1-x 1.1.11-1 X desktop video output plugins for Versions of packages libxine1 recommends: ii libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.11-1 MPEG-related plugins for libxine1 -- no debconf information -- Rogério Brito : [EMAIL PROTECTED],ime.usp}.br : GPG key 1024D/7C2CAEB8 http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito : http://meusite.mackenzie.com.br/rbrito Projects: algorithms.berlios.de : lame.sf.net : vrms.alioth.debian.org
