Hi,
The /usr/share/doc-base/maint-guide-pl file contains the following line
Author: Josip Rodin, Paweł Tęcza, Marcin Owsiany
which seems to be encoded in ISO-8859-2. Although it wasn't documented, such
encoding was never supported by doc-base.
While installing doc-base files, recent versions of install-docs try
to convert to UTF-8, but since ISO-8859-1 is assumed, the result of
such recoding will be obviouslly wrong. Could you please manually recode
the file to UTF-8 in next version of your package?
