The same error takes place with the xtpipes.jar that is shipped with
Eitan's tar.gz.
This seems to indicate one of two problems:
1. Some missing java libraries that need to be installed
for a Java environment for XML.
2. Some problem with gij.
I suspect that the first is the real problem. I will e-mail the
Debian Java team to ask for help.
