Package: ruby1.8 Version: 1.8.6.114-2 Severity: normal
According to a discussion thread on Google's ruby-talk [1], there are "a couple serious bugs" in Ruby's thread implementation. Please consider rebuilding the package using the thread.c file found at [2]. If this fix is done, then there will be no need to package libfastthread-ruby and bug #472500 can be closed.
