thanks

queue is admitedly broken and it looks to me as it is not fit for sarge.

as reported in 308403 and 308404 and after a little more investigation,
queue hardly works locally and fails remotely.

it seems the 141 return code is triggered locally by the following line
in /etc/hosts:

        127.0.0.1 localhost hostname

replacing with:

        127.0.0.1 hostname localhost

seem to get rid of most of them. Note that both are valid. on a recent
install, i have:

        127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost hostname

queue still returns 141 invariably when running on a remote host.

the debian changelog also mentions a broken pty allocation on devfs, so
i suspect udev is not any better.

a newer release was last seen a few years ago.

cheers, piem
