Package: apache2-prefork-dev Version: 2.2.8-1 Severity: normal Hello,
After installing a module with: /usr/bin/apxs2 -i -n mymod mod_mymod.la the module gets installed into: /usr/lib/apache2/modules but is not available in /etc/apache2/mods-available Now I may have missed some part of the documentation but its not clear whether one should manually copy the file to /etc/apache2/modules or rather create a symlink for there to /usr/lib/apache2/modules Also the -a option reports: apxs:Error: Activation failed for custom /etc/apache2/httpd.conf file.. apxs:Error: At least one `LoadModule' directive already has to exist.. Maybe comment about where the configuration file for the module should be created could also be added to apxs2 man page.
