Hi, I have checked the use of $MANPATH with yelp:
$ export MANPATH=/tmp and copied a manual page to /tmp/man1. When starting yelp, a warning is displayed: "manpath: warning: $MANPATH set, ignoring /etc/manpath.config" and when browsing through the manual pages, there is one single manual page in section 1.
