Could you please replace /sbin/modprobe -qr vboxdrv in /etc/init.d/virtualbox-ose by /sbin/modprobe -qr vboxdrv || true and try again? Alternatively, if you already installes 1.5.6-dfsg-1 could you please try reinstalling? I'd gather this bug is the same as #466851 and as such is fixed in 1.5.6-dfsg-1. Given that 1.5.4-dfsg-5 never made it out of SID I think we can ignore this problem, if it is this one.
